Famic Technologies announces the launch of Automation Studio 6.3, a system design, simulation, documentation, training and maintenance software for the fluid power, electrical and automation fields.

  • Covers hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, controls, human machine interface and communications
  • Offers an open collaborative work environment to help optimize productivity and project workflow
  • Allows collaboration with customers, suppliers or colleagues
  • Multi-user, multi-language and remote access features enable users to set companywide standards and enhance project documentation
  • Defect scenarios can be defined to trigger failures during system simulation and virtual dynamic instruments used to diagnose and repair failures
  • User interface detects discipline and automatically adapts by displaying applicable commands and functions
  • API and Scripting module allows integration with other corporate applications
  • Multi-user support capability allows several geographically dispersed teams to simultaneously design and simulate various systems of a machine
  • Ready-to-use components are available in several catalogs to facilitate system design
  • Updated features and functions include dynamic simulation, mechanical links, 3D capabilities, sizing sheet engine, a training environment and workflow
  • BOM & Report Module enables automatic documentation to increase productivity, as well as automatic generation of Bills of Materials (BOM) and reports using own template or existing ones
  • Ability to edit component properties included in schematics directly from reports
  • Filter, Sort and Group features are available to help intuitively find the desired information
  • Users can drag-and-drop pre-configured components from the library or select virtual manufacturers’ products to create intelligent 2D schematics, and analyze the system’s behavior in simulation mode
  • Users can create model-in-the-loop (MIL) testing environment using APIs to simulate multi-technology systems modeled in Automation Studio with other complementary multi-physics simulation software
  • Communicates with any CANbus J1939 devices
