1206 Tier 4 Final Engines

Perkins is launching its range of six cylinder Tier 4 Final/Stage IV compliant engines at INTERMAT 2012. The engines incorporate specially optimized Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology.

• Delivers estimated 5% better cycle fluid consumption over previous models
• Twin turbo 1206F-E70TTA is capable of producing 225 kW (300 hp) and features twin turbochargers – one small, one large
• Smaller first stage turbo accelerates quickly giving low speed response and 1,280 Nm of torque at 1,400 rpm
• Larger second stage provides high airflow for power density
• Single turbo 1206F-E70TA offers up to 151 kW (202 hp) at 2,200 rpm with maximum torque of 870 Nm at 1,400 rpm
• Packaging DOC/DPF canister and SCR system into one integrated module minimizes impact of aftertreatment
• Aftertreatment module includes flexible inlet and outlet options, pre-installed electronics and Diesel Exhaust Fuel (DEF) line hook ups
• Diesel Particulate Filter uses passive regeneration which is transparent to operator and service free
