1106D-E70TA Electronically Controlled Tier 3/Stage IIIA Engine

Perkins is set to launch its first electronically controlled, Tier 3/Stage IIIA compliant engine, the 1106D-E70TA, for the Chinese market at this year’s bauma China.  

• Seven liter, six-cylinder model
• Features high-pressure common rail fuel injection
• Includes single stage turbocharger and is air-to-air charge cooled
• Capable of producing up to 205 kW (275 hp) at 2,200 rpm with a maximum torque figure of 1,050 Nm at 1,400 rpm
• Offers seamless transition between mechanical and electronic as it shares a common platform with its six cylinder mechanical counterpart, the 1106C-70TA
