MTU, a Tognum Group brand, will exhibit select engines from its full line of advanced power solutions (100 bhp to 750 bhp) at DEMO International, September 20 to 22, Saint-Raymond, near Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Sponsored by the Canadian Woodlands Forum, DEMO International is held every four years for the North American forestry industry.
MTU engines on display will include the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Tier 4 Interim-certified Series 900 and a cutaway display of Series 1500 for EPA Tier 4 Final. MTU will host the booth in conjunction with its distributor, Wajax Power Systems, a leading Canadian distributor of heavy-duty diesel- and gaseous-fueled engines, transmissions and power generation equipment, at booth number S-25.
Propulsion system experts from MTU and Wajax Power Systems will also be on hand to help DEMO International attendees find the best solutions to their business challenges.
MTU engines for logging trucks and other forestry management equipment are designed for high torque and low engine speed to meet demanding applications in sensitive environments. Optimized for low emissions and low noise, the engines also help reduce operating and maintenance costs.
