Manitou Red Tour

As part of its "Red Strategy," Manitou Americas, a Manitou Group subsidiary, has set off on the Red Tour, traveling across the United States and Canada to host live demonstrations for dealers and customers. These demonstrations show the versatility of the Manitou MHT Series Heavy Telescopic Handlers, MRT Series Rotating Telescopic Handlers and specialty attachments.

The company is bringing its biggest equipment and attachments directly to the customers. It gives operators and owners of large companies the opportunity to see first-hand the equipment in action, as well as talk with Manitou product experts about the advantages and opportunities of the MRT and MHT products and their specialty attachments.

Since the beginning of the year, Red Tour stops have included Elko, NV; Billings, MT; Indiana, PA; and Asbury Park, NJ. In October, the tour continues with two stops in Odessa, TX, on October 7 and 8 and then moves to Quebec, Canada from October 15 through October 22, 2013.

This event is focused on exposing the two largest products Manitou offers in the North American market, the MHT - Heavy Duty Telescopic Handlers and the MRT Rotating Telescopic Handlers. The event demonstrations display the value of the products as solutions providers, highlighting the versatility and flexibility of the MRT 2540 Rotating Telescopic Handler andMHT 10225 Heavy Telescopic Handler.

The Manitou Red Tour also demonstrates select attachments including forks, work access platform, a jib and winch, a large tire clamp and a CH10 pipe handler.

"Attendees at the events are impressed by the size of the products and the versatility and maneuverability of the machines even with the attachments installed. The demonstrations clearly display the Manitou advantage of being a solutions provider - one machine excelling in multiple applications throughout the jobsites," says Lori Heidecker, Manitou Americas Marketing Director. "Safety and efficiency are major concerns with operations today. Manitou products are the perfect solution for many difficult tasks on jobsites or in quarries and saves operations lots of money."

The Red Tour will continue with a dealer meeting in November at Manitou Americas' corporate office in West Bend, WI. Product also will be displayed at the first quarter 2014 tradeshows including World of Concrete and ConExpo in Las Vegas, NV, and ARA's The Rental Show in Orlando, FL.
