The Trump election has raised some serious economic questions. For all his political rhetoric, the failure to pass healthcare has left many wondering what he can reasonably do to change the economy? What can't he do? The U.S. economy has been on a stable, low growth trajectory since early in the recovery. That seems likely to change in 2018. But the direction of the change remains very opaque.
