GIE+EXPO 2015 on track to have another record-breaking year

With exhibition space sales already 10% higher than 2014, GIE+EXPO anticipates another record-breaking year in 2015.

If early exhibit space sales are an indicator, GIE+EXPO 2015 will likely exceed 2014's largest-ever status. Booth commitments are currently up 10% over 2014 at this time, and many returning exhibitors have significantly increased the size of their space for the annual tradeshow, which is set for October 21 to 23 at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

Among the returning exhibitors who have increased their space is Michelin Tweel Technologies.

"GIE+EXPO is a great opportunity to gain visibility for a product. This show puts us in front of the customers our product was designed to help. If you are trying to create brand awareness in the landscape and hardscape communities, this is the best place to do it," says Mary Ann Kotlarich, Commercial Public Relations Director for Michelin Tweel Technologies.

Jacobsen/Textron is also increasing its presence in 2015 with expanded exhibit space. In addition, Dixie Chopper, which is part of the Jacobsen/Textron family of products, has signed on to sponsor three nights of free concerts for attendees.

"GIE+EXPO was a huge success for Dixie Chopper. The volume of booth traffic was larger than any of our other industry shows in 2014, and we came away with significantly more new leads than ever before. Attendees were very industry- and product-focused, and that showed in how busy our outdoor demo area was throughout the event," says Dena Jenkins, Marketing & Events Specialist for Dixie Chopper. "We are so excited about planning for GIE+EXPO to build on the momentum we gained at the 2014 show."

According to Kris Kiser, President and CEO of the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute, the 2015 show looks to be another record breaker.

"GIE+EXPO's value continues to increase as the show grows and evolves," said Kiser. "If you're in this industry, you have to be there or miss out on the largest and most valuable gathering of industry leaders. Its upward trajectory is a given, as no other place offers as much for so many in our industry."

OPEI sponsors GIE+EXPO along with the Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS) and Professional Landcare Network (PLANET). The show is co-located with Hardscape North America, which is sponsored by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI).
