Visionaire Inc. has opened its new, larger design and manufacturing facility at 1401 Valley View Lane in Irving, TX.

“Investing in our facilities and our people allows us to grow in this fast-changing market,” says  Adam Butterfield, President of Visionaire, Inc.

Larger Dedicated R&D Lab

Visionaire has a long history of developing unique heating, cooling, and cab pressurization products for operator cabs on cranes, mining equipment, railroad work machines, highway construction equipment and military vehicles.

“Our expanding engineering team and improved lab will help us respond more quickly to the changing demands of today’s heavy equipment OEMs,” says Chris Hazzard, Engineering Manager.

Run the Cab Air Conditioner with the Engine Off?

Visionaire HVAC systems, all built in Texas, are now found all over the globe, from Australian mines to remote desert military bases. Visionaire is widely known for the hydraulically powered compressor drives in their air conditioners. Recently they have found increasing demand for alternate technologies.

Battery powered DC air conditioners that cool the work cab when the vehicle engine is off are in demand by equipment manufacturers to meet environmental goals, reduce fuel use, and extend intervals between required engine maintenance. “Developing and marketing a truly heavy-duty DC air conditioner is a major focus of Visionaire’s expanded R&D department,” Butterfield says. “We look forward to hosting new and existing customers in our new facility.”

Founded in 1994, Visionaire Inc. is an industry leader in off-highway vehicle cab ventilation and air quality. The company designs its products in collaboration with vehicle manufacturers and assembles and supports them in house.
