MTA Giotto and Giotto K 8-in. Color TFT Customizable Displays

During Agritechnica 2017, MTA introduced its customizable Giotto and Giotto K TFT displays which are ruggedly designed for off-highway vehicles.

MTA presents its 8 in. (20.3 cm) color TFT Giotto and Giotto K customizable displays.

  • Features Android-based software
  • Programmed with basic software that can be implemented by OEMs using software tools that allow for deep customization 
  • Giotto is full TFT touchscreen display
  • Giotto K is combines TFT display with side keyboard for customers who prefer a more traditional approach in interacting with the display
  • Both can be used as stand-alone devices or in addition to other dashboards or instrument panels
  • Includes sophisticated off-highway technical features to ensure functionality and reliability in harsh conditions 
  • Equipped with anti-reflective and anti-fingerprint glass that ensures maximum visibility 
  • Special treatments eliminate air between the glass and plastics, improve performance in outdoor environments, increase ruggedness and durability, eliminate condensation, extend temperature range and minimize light reflection
  • IP66 degree of protection
  • High resistance to vibrations and extreme temperatures 
  • 12 or 24V power supply
  • Uses Jacinto 6 processor by Texas Instruments which ensures power-up time of less than 5 seconds
  • Equipped with up to eight analogue/digital inputs; up to two frequency inputs
  • Includes two video inputs for camera connection, two CAN ports, two USB ports, one loudspeaker 
  • Two power outputs allow display to manage external functions, thereby replacing an additional control unit for a simpler vehicle configuration 
  • Android platform includes standard features like graphical elements and algorithms of reference that facilitate the developments of applications for easy customization to meet specific vehicle needs 
  • Can also be programmed with MTA Studio which allows customization using C/C++, LADDER (Livelihoods and Diversification Directions) and FBD (Functional Block Diagram) for the operating logics
  • Graphic Human to Machine Interface is What You See Is What You Get allowing user to see how graphics will appear at the end of the job even while building the application itself
  • MTA Studio also contains a real-time debugger and set of libraries, with different functions available, which the customer can decide to use depending on application requirements
