Southco ST-10P Torque Cartridge Embedded Hinge

SOUTHCO recently launched the ST-10P Torque Cartridge Embedded Hinge.

• Delivers constant torque in compact package for pivoting and positioning applications where low levels of friction are required  
• Features outside diameter of 10 mm (0.4 in.) and torque up to 2 Nm (1.5 lb.-ft.), allowing end users to easily position small mounted components including lids and display screens, and hold them securely in place at any angle
• For applications requiring constant torque functionality in a molded assembly
• Press-in torque insert easily integrates into plastic, cast metal and sheet metal applications, enhancing overall feel and performance of the end product
• Features concealed design that improves aesthetics of equipment when compared to visible surface mount hinges
• Can be used on any small device panel lid or flap where a concealed, hold open feature is desirable, such as storage panels within vehicle interiors, access panels on electronic signs and displays, and small enclosures used in industrial machinery or equipment
