The safety pressure transmitter F02 and the safety controller ESX-3XM will be presented to the public for the first time at the Agritechnica 2013 by STW Technic. Both products offer safety features in compliance with the relevant standards EN ISO 13849-1 and IEC 61508. Therefore, they are ideal for utilization in systems requiring a performance level PLd or a safety integrity level of SIL2.
After the larger ESX-3XL controller, Sensor-Technik Wiedemann (STW Technic) is introducing the ESX-3XM as the second freely programmable 32 bit standard electronic control unit with these specifications. As with most STW standard products, the ESX-3XM and F02 were designed especially for mobile working machinery. As such they are designed to handle the specific environmental conditions such as vibrations, EMC and extreme temperature variations.
