Webtec has launched an online hydraulic oil viscosity calculator app which calculates the viscosity of hydraulic oil at different pressures
- Engineers simply select oil being used, along with system temperature (in degrees Celcius) and pressure (bar), hit the ‘submit’ button and up pops the viscosity (cSt)
- User can alter values to see effects on viscosity of fluctuations in temperature or pressure
- Eases hydraulic measurement and control
- Free-of-charge
- Version with more detailed results, including graphs (some in 3D), can be accessed by logging in (existing users) or registering (new users); graphs can be saved for use in reports
