Michigan Manufacturing Intl. completes facility expansion to meet future growth

In anticipation of future company growth, Michigan Manufacturing Intl. has completed a 20,000 sq. ft. expansion of its facility in Maryland.

Michigan Manufacturing International (MMI) announces it recently completed a 20,000-square-foot addition to its headquarters in Stevensville, MD. This was done in preparation for the future growth of MMI, as well as to accommodate tenants who are seeking affordable, high-quality workspaces in a new facility that also has a view of the Chesapeake Bay.

The addition to the facility can be divided into nine spaces with each suite having its own separate 480V electric service. The building is protected by a full sprinkler system that allows open racking to heights up to 17 ft. Other storage methods can reach elevations up to the 24-foot clear ceiling.

Commenting on the expansion, MMI CEO Jacob Prak says, “This expansion is in response to the growing demand for our products and services, both domestically and globally. The additional space will enable us to meet our customers’ needs by allowing for the installation of new machinery, increasing our warehouse storage capacity and adding workspace for our personnel.”
