Wu Yindeng, President Assistant of LiuGong Machinery and General Manager of LiuGong Dressta, and Professor Marek Orkisz, President of Rzeszów University of Technology in Województwo Podkarpackie, Poland, signed a cooperation agreement in Stalowa Wola to establish a technical exchange program between the two entities. Wladylsaw Ortyl, Governor of Województwo Podkarpackie, and Andrzej Szlezak, Mayor of Stalowa Wola, and other government officials attended the signing ceremony.
The partnership is not only a new step in the history of cooperation between Poland and China, but also the first cooperation between a college and an enterprise in the region. Cooperation with the Polish academic center, which has strong scientific research strengths, will promote the development of Chinese enterprises’ industrial environment and scientific research both at home and abroad. This also lays a solid foundation for LiuGong Dressta to establish a modern R&D center and a build high-quality workforce in the city. Signing this agreement will expand students’ internship and employment opportunities, and promote the development of Rzeszów University of Technology. Meanwhile, this cooperation will stimulate investment and economic development for the city and surrounding areas, and contribute to local employment. At the ceremony, Hou Yubo, General Manager Assistant of LiuGong Dressta, introduced the company's future investment and development plans in Stalowa Wola.
Governor Ortyl and Mayor of Szlezak all agreed that the investment on technological innovation, R&D facilities, laboratories and talent indicates that the company has long-term sustainable development capacity. Both the province and the city will provide strong support to LiuGong Dressta development.
