Hatz has introduced the 3H50, a downsized 3-cylinder engine which will go into production in 2018.
- Compact design
- Provides power range up to 46 kW (61.69 hp)
- Well suited for today’s compact machine class up to 37 kW (49.62 hp)
- Delivers up to 2,800 rpm and 1.5 L (0.4 gal.), and will replace engines with displacements over 2.5 L (0.66 gal.) in the future
- iHACS technology (intelligent Hatz Advanced Combustion Strategy) helps reduce fuel consumption
- Sophisticated combustion chamber geometry, Bosch injection technology, minimized friction and a charge air pressure of 1.7 bar (24.66 psi) ensures the right dimension of power in less than 1/5 cu. m
- Available in open power unit (OPU) version for applications with less capacity for radiators, tubing and wiring of electronics
- Meets current and future emissions standards
Hatz 3H50TI
- Weighs 133 kg (293.22 lbs.)
- Does not require any exhaust emission aftertreatment to comply with EU Stage IIIA/US EPA Tier 4 Interim standards in power range of 19-37 kW (25.48-49.66 hp)
- Capable of handling higher ambient temperatures
- Maximum torque of 200 Nm (at 1,600-2,200 rpm)
- Delivers up to 46 kW (61.69 hp)
Hatz 3H50TIC
- Developed primarily for the U.S. and Canada, as well as some Asian countries
- Features combination of DOC and EGR to comply with US EPA Tier 4 Final and EU Stage IIIB
- Achieves up to 42 kW (56.32 hp) and torque of 185 Nm
- Additional components add approximately 20 kg (44.1 lbs.) of extra weight
Hatz 3H50TICD
- Will include DPF to meet Stage V emissions regulations while providing same performance as other models
- Customized configuration of Hatz DPF system optiHEAT ensures optimum length between two regeneration intervals
