Sporty mission for Yanmar excavators: heiler GmbH & Co KG Sportplatzbau-Landschaftsbau (Heiler), the expert in sports ground construction, has been relying on Yanmar machines for many years to build numerous football grounds for the German national football league. The company from Bielefeld uses the Yanmar mini and compact excavators for creating the grounds of the big stadiums, as well as for sports ground construction of regional sport and football clubs.
Udo Heiler, Managing Director of Heiler, says, "Yanmar engines are unbeatable. Thanks to their characteristics, Yanmar excavators are perfectly suited for sports ground construction: compact dimensions, low weight and reliable engines with low fuel consumption. They transport and distribute material for the substructure of sports fields. This structure consists of several layers and can only be navigated by machines with low soil pressure. In addition, the excavators are used to construct paved pathways, parking lots and perform other landscaping jobs in the sports field environment.
Since 2000, Heiler has specialized in sports ground construction. Today, more than half of the German national league football clubs play on football grounds developed by the market expert. Among Heiler’s reference list, there are the former Ruhr Stadium Bochum, the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen and the Olympic Stadium Berlin with its famous blue raceway. Presently, the company is constructing the third training ground for the Hamburg football team HSV. For the season 2015, Heiler has extended its fleet with the Yanmar excavator ViO80. The long-time Yanmar dealer Lopez-Infantes Baumaschinen GmbH & Co. KG handed over the Zero Tail Swing machine in special green and orange painting to its loyal customer Heiler.
