DGD Fluid Power's CFT-Max is designed to meet the increasing demand to monitor hydraulic flows on mobile equipment. The CFT-MAX is J1939 compliant with an IP69 rating. It has a flow range from 0 to 150 gpm and a 6,000 psi pressure rating, which allow the CFT-Max to be used on many mobile solutions today. It has a fluid temperature range from -20 to 125 ºC and a wired resistor can be applied to change the source address from the default value.
It also has units that have the 4 to 20 mA output as well as voltage output units, but the J1939 CAN-bus are destined for the mobile market. Laminar flow is important when working with turbine flow meters. The CFT-MAX addresses this with a turbine design that minimizes the effect of the turbulence and with scaling the CFT's to the specific application. They also have taken steps to be able to tune the flow meter even better if desired. They also can be removed and reinstalled easily to make them more flexible in various field applications for greater electronics modification without removing the hydraulic cartridge from the system.
