AGCO Corporation will feature its new Fendt IDEAL combine at the 2019 National Farm Machinery Show. Cleaned up and polished after harvesting demonstrations in fields in fall 2018, the Fendt IDEAL combine is the industry’s latest in harvesting innovation. Show attendees should plan extra time to see IDEAL at the AGCO display — Lots 7801 & 7823 — on the east side of South Wing B at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, KY, Feb. 13-16, 2019.

“Producer experience and field testing for Fendt IDEAL combines has been integral in the launch of this machine,” says Caleb Schleder, Tactical Marketing Manager for Harvesting at AGCO. “We are excited North American farmers harvested their crops with the combine last fall, and proud it made a positive impression on producers who sat behind the wheel.”

This axial combine sets a new standard for harvesting automation, blending Fendt’s tradition of engineering innovation with the most advanced operating technology, to deliver what producers told AGCO they want in a combine — in-field efficiency, unfailing uptime, totally simple operation and better grain quality. These are some of the attributes that earned it a 2019 AE50 Award from the American Society of Agriculture and Biological Engineers.

During NFMS, producers can learn about the IDEAL combine through the IDEAL Experience, a self-guided walking tour of the combine housed within a grain bin at the AGCO exhibit.

As a full-line equipment manufacturer, AGCO will showcase many of its other popular and innovative products from high-speed White Planters to the latest Massey Ferguson balers and Massey Ferguson, Challenger and Fendt tractors of all sizes. Massey Ferguson GC1700Massey Ferguson GC1700

  • NEW – Massey Ferguson GC1700 sub-compact tractors. The new GC1700 Series tractors add new styling, operator comfort and ergonomic enhancements to the reliable, powerful drivetrain, taking the new GC1723E and GC1725M tractors to the next level. Tilt steering, integrated joystick and a one-piece rubber floor mat are some of the features of these handy, agile 22.5 and 24.5 hp diesel tractors.
  • Recently Introduced ‒ Massey Ferguson 4100 RB Series Silage Baler. Massey Ferguson’s first silage-specific baler is a heavy-duty premium machine that produces high-quality, high-density silage and corn stover bales. It is engineered to deliver the throughput and reliability required for making bales from heavy, high-moisture crops or dry, coarse material such as corn stover or straw.
  • Fendt High-horsepower Tractors ‒ 700, 800 and 1000 Series. For more than 90 years, Fendt has combined craftsmanship with engineering to deliver innovative, high-quality, reliable farm equipment designed for in-field efficiency and ease of use. Fendt’s tractor lineup exemplifies this tradition. At NFMS, producers will see three of Fendt’s most popular tractors for tackling everything from daily livestock chores to planting to deep tillage or moving heavy loads. From the latest engine technology to comfortable cabs and productivity-boosting options, such as front 3-point hitch, front PTO, self-levelling front axle suspension and Fendt Reaction steering system, these tractors are the leading choice of producers seeking unequalled comfort and productivity.
  • Also on display will be a wide array of Massey Ferguson compact, heavy-duty utility and mid-range tractors; the reliable, efficient, industry-leading 2270 large square baler from Hesston by Massey Ferguson; hard-working Gleaner S9 combine; and a high-speed White Planters 9924VE planter on tracks pulled by a Challenger MT723 track tractor.
