Mahindra & Mahindra, which has become one of the world's largest tractor manufacturers by volume, is investigating various international acquisitions in order to further expand its presence in the agricultural marketplace.
While the company already produces tractors, it is looking to expand into other agricultural services such as irrigation, horticulture and farm technology. Company executives say acquiring other companies would help Mahindra's goal of expanding into other areas of agri-business as well as its vehicle portfolio.
