ZF Innovation Tractor - SafeRange

SafeRange enables operators to remotely control the Innovation Tractor using a mobile app wirelessly connected to the tractor via Wi-Fi. Included with this feature is Hitch Detection which allows the tractor to be maneuvered with the app towards an implement with which it will be hitched. Operators simply have to push a button on the app and the tractor will move automatically; no steering is required. Pedestrian Detection is also a part of the system. If a person is detected behind the tractor, it will stop automatically to ensure the safety of that person.
