Meggitt Sensing Systems, a Meggitt group division, has announced the expansion of available measurement ranges of its Endevco model 8530BM37 series of miniature, high-sensitivity absolute piezoresistive pressure transducers.
- Available in four distinct ranges of 200, 500, 1000 and 2000 psia with 300 mV full scale output
- Offers high resonance frequencies of 750 kHz (200 psia) and 1000 kHz (500, 1000 and 2000 psia)
- Provides linearity and thermal transient stability, even at 3x over-range, for high output in a compact, lightweight package
- Includes a 4-pin connector and fully detachable cable
- Active four-arm strain gage bridge diffused into a sculpted silicon diaphragm provides maximum sensitivity and broad frequency response
- Volume behind diaphragm is evacuated and glass sealed for absolute reference
- Features temperature compensation for stable performance over a range of -18 C to 93 C (0 F to 200 F)
- Withstands 20,000 g shock and offers minimum 4X burst pressure at 200, 500 and 1000 psia ranges (2X burst pressure for 2,000 psia)
- Offers non-linearity, non-repeatability and pressure hysteresis errors of less than 0.50% FSO (200 and 500 psia) and 1% FSO (1000 and 2000 psia)
- Supports demanding hydraulic and pneumatic pressure measurements, as well as automotive airbag and transmission testing
- Includes replaceable 3027A-120 cable and 10-32 UNF-2A standard mounting thread
