Honeywell has released its PX2 Series Heavy-Duty Pressure Transducers, which are highly configurable and composed of stainless steel.
- Resistant to moderately harsh media such as refrigerants, brake and hydraulic fluids, engine oil, tap water, and compressed air
- Monitors performance and efficiency in a wide range of potential industrial applications
- Uses piezoresistive sensing technology with ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) signal conditioning
- Compatibility with varied media, combined with up to IP69K protection and CE compliance, allows for reliable performance in tough environments
- Numerous standard or custom connectors, ports, pressure types and ranges, and output options allows to configure devices to meet specific applications
- Fully calibrated and compensated for transducer offset, sensitivity, temperature effects, and non-linearity using on-board ASIC
- Total Error Band of ±2% over the compensated temperature range of -40 C to 125 C [-40 F to 257 F]
- Measures absolute or sealed gage pressure
- Absolute versions have internal vacuum reference and output value proportional to absolute pressure
- Sealed gage versions have an internal pressure reference of one atmosphere at sea level
- Available in 7 bar to 34 bar [100 psi to 500 psi] pressure ranges
- EMC protection means prevents damage by environmental electromagnetic interference
