The MR380 fiber optic E-STOP system from Micronor Inc. is an inherently safe, operator-activated Emergency Safety Switch solution for harsh and hazardous applications where a conventional electromechanical E-Stop cannot be used or is impractical. 

  • Dedicated optical link and ability to operate over long distances provides safety control independent of all other safety functions ?
  • Immune to EMI, RFI, lightning, high voltage lines and ground loops
  • Passive sensor can operate over long distances, up to 2,500 m
  • Controller features DPDT relay and digital signal outputs
  • Multiple switches can be connected in series
  • Functional Safety classification is SIL=1/PL=c
  • System consists of the MR380-2 Fiber Optic E-STOP Switch Sensor and MR380-1 Controller Module connected together via a duplex multimode fiber optic link
  • Can be installed directly in any hazardous location or explosive atmosphere environment? and is 100% passive 
  • MR380-2 Sensor is 100% passive
  • Sensor Ex op is designation enables it to be installed directly in any hazardous location or explosive atmosphere environment 
  • MR380-1 Controller designed to be installed in a non-hazardous area together with the user's other system control equipment
