POSITAL has extended is portfolio of rotary encoders with a family of through-hollow incremental encoders.

  • Designed to be installed with machine shaft passing through sensor
  • Can be used to monitor rotary motion in wide variety of machinery
  • Offers cost-effective, space-saving solution
  • Can easily be installed between body of motor and other components mounted on the shaft
  • Available for shaft diameters ranging from 3/8 in. (9.5 mm) to 1-3/4 in. (44.5 mm)
  • Smaller units (up to 14 mm [0.6 in.] shaft opening) have external diameter of 2-1/4 in. (58 mm)
  • Larger units (5/8 [15.9 mm] to 1-3/4 in. shaft size) have external diameters of 3 or 4 in. (77 or 100 mm)
  • Available resolutions extend from 360-4096 PPR (pulses per revolution)
  • Features rugged aluminum housings and environmental protection rated at IP65
  • All variants are available with variety of communications interfaces, including RS422 (TTL) 5V or 11-30V and Push-Pull (HTL, 5-30V)
  • Connection options include built-in cables or MIL-type connectors
