Curtiss-Wright’s Industrial Division brand family of Penny & Giles announces the launch of the SRH301 and SRH302 range of shaft-operated, rotary position sensors.
- Features low-profile sensor body depth of 17.3 mm (0.68 in.)
- Includes popular 28 mm (1.10 in.) diameter flanged housing with crush-proof mounting zones
- Sealed to IP69K for protection against water, dust, shock, vibration and temperature
- Can be powered from either a 5V DC regulated supply or from a varying voltage in the range of 9-30V DC, such as a vehicle’s battery
- SRH301 is a 3-wire, single output variant with a supply current rating of less than 17.5 mA
- SRH302 is a 6-wire, dual-redundant output variant with a supply current rating of less than 35 mA
- Dual-die design has two completely independent power connections and output channels for full electrical redundancy
- Uses proven, wear-free Hall-effect sensing technology to provide long mechanical life
- Choice of two shaft configurations available, both compatible with existing de-facto industry standards for straightforward inter-changeability on existing equipment
- Electrical output spans of both models can be set to correspond to rotations of 20-360 degrees in 1-degree increments
- Factory-programmable electronics can be set to one of two analog voltage output ranges (0.5-4.5V or 0.2-4.8V) or one of three PWM frequencies
- Connection options are industry-standard AMP Superseal or Deutsch DT04 series connectors, or simple 18AWG flying-leads for customer termination
- Can be supplied with protective NC10 flexible conduit for the cabling
