Manufacturers of lifting and hoisting equipment are preparing a diverse and varied selection of product launches and news to showcase at M&T Expo 2012 – the 8th International Trade Fair for Construction Equipment and 6th International Trade Fair for Mining Equipment, which takes place from May 29 to June 2, 2012 at the Centro de Exposições Imigrantes (Imigrantes Exhibition Center) in São Paulo - Brazil.
New Holland has been offering the market its M428 model telehandlers since 2007. Now, for the trade show, the company will present its latest models: the LM1445 and LM1745. Both models, which feature the latest technology available for this category of equipment, have a load lifting capacity of 4,500 kg and are equipped with a modern New Holland Tier 3 engine that meets all the emissions standards established for Europe and Brazil. These telehandlers have a remarkable turning capacity (turn radius). Their four wheels can be steered in three different directions; a procedure that is facilitated by a switch inside the cab, protected against accidental movements. In elevating jobs - 13.55 meters maximum for the LM1445 and 16.60 meters for the LM1745 - the New Holland handlers ensure perfect visibility of the upper section of the boom when completely extended, and in all directions.
Sany do Brasil, in turn, will launch the 55-ton version of its Rough Terrain (RT) crane. The design of the main boom with five hexagonal sections, for example, contemplates a maximum lifting momentum of 1,845 kN and a great load-lifting capacity. Full extension or retraction of the main boom is accomplished in just two minutes and the speed of the winch (single cable) is up to 150 m/min. Equipped with four-wheel drive, these machines move at speeds of up to 40 km/h and have a gradeability of up to 75%.
AUXTER, for instance, plans to exhibit equipment from the lines of yard-material handlers manufactured by SENNEBOGEN. The German brand, one of the world’s most well-known manufacturers of material moving and lifting machines, will be present with equipment and solutions. One of the outstanding offers is the 825M rubber-tired material handler, with a bold design and high technology that provides superior performance and excellent travel and operational velocity. Its main characteristics are ease of handling and durability. The equipment has a long-reaching boom (13 meters) and a hydraulic elevating cab. This machine can be used in feeding materials to biomass shredders and centrifuges. Materials that can be processed include domestic or industrial wastes such as bales of sugarcane straw, orange trees, stumps, roots, scrap lumber, among other materials.
Exclusive representative of Lift Systems (a U.S. company), Lift Equipamentos - which belongs to the Tundisi Group - will showcase its 20 to 1,400 ton hydraulic gantries, industrial trailers, 33 to 100 ton MOBILIFTS, and the company’s 40 to 110 ton TWINLIFTS. The gantries are computerized with a monitoring/control platform system called CARL (Computer Assisted Remote Lifting). For rental and sale, the company will provide information regarding 2.5 to 47 ton forklifts, cranes, tires, tools, lighting towers, dollies/skates for removals, hydraulic claw/toe jacks and various replacement parts for all the aforementioned equipment.
As regards Solaris Brasil, the company’s outstanding bid at the show will be its offer of electric and diesel-powered aerial work platforms with elevating capacities between 7.6 and 43 meters, and telehandlers with a 12-meter boom range for loads of up to 4,535 kg.
Hyva do Brasil, in turn, is intensifying its work in the segment of cranes and intends to bring to the fair the brand’s knuckle-boom (articulated) models. During M&T Expo 2012, the company’s executives and directors also intend to announce the investments that are being made in a new division of articulated cranes.
To strengthen its reputation on the Brazilian market as a company providing complete solutions in the area of movement of cargo, GTM Máquinas e Equipamentos is adding to its portfolio of products and services the distribution of aerial work platforms produced by Chinese company Hunan Runshare Heavy Industry which has a line that consists of articulated and telescopic models capable of reaching heights of 14 to 42 meters. These platforms will be on display at M&T Expo 2012.
Supreme Lubrificantes will present three new products in its line up of greases at M&T Expo 2012. These new grease products are formulated for use on telescopic crane booms with versions for the lubrication of cranes operating in coastal environments and others for lubrication of cranes working in mountainous areas as well as a special, environmentally-friendly grease for steel cables and gears.
M&T Expo 2012 - the largest and most important event in Latin America in the area of equipment for the construction and mining industries - is expected to gather almost 500 exhibitors and receive 45,000 visitors. The event is organized and promoted by SOBRATEMA – the Brazilian Association of Technology for Equipment and Maintenance.
