AGCO Corporation, a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, partnered with local AGCO dealers across the United States and Canada to raise nearly $100,000 in support of wounded service veterans. In a little over four months, from mid-May to the end of September, this significant amount of money was raised for wounded service veterans. A $500 donation was made in the name of each dealership involved on behalf of AGCO for their involvement with the program.

The AGCO Sustainability Initiative focuses on improving the lives of present and future generations. As a part of this initiative, AGCO invests in the health of the communities it serves.

"We are proud to contribute to the Wounded Warrior Project in the United States and Wounded Warriors Canada," says Bill Hurley, Vice President of North American Sales. "We are extremely indebted to our veterans and very much appreciate the work they do. Certainly, wounded veterans are a part of farming communities all across North America. So, it's no wonder we've seen great enthusiasm among employees and dealers in getting behind this cause. Today, we are making a donation in the names of nearly 200 dealerships across North America. We are grateful to all of the dealers, and we thank all of the brave servicemen and women who put their lives on the line to defend us."

Both the Wounded Warrior Project and Wounded Warriors Canada are nonprofit veterans' service organizations that offer a variety of programs, services and events for wounded veterans of each country.
