Bendix Pneumatic Booster System (PBS)

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC introduces the Bendix Pneumatic Booster System (PBS) to simultaneously improve fuel economy and vehicle acceleration, while reducing engine emissions.

• Placed near air intake manifold on engine to monitor the CAN system for specific signals
• Once conditions for activation are met, it injects compressed air from an auxiliary air tank into the engine manifold
• Overcomes turbo lag by instantaneously injecting the desired air into the intake manifold, allowing the turbocharger to spin up to its full capacity
• PBS 200 model available for 4- to 8-liter engines
• PBS 400 available for 8- to 13-liter engines
