Rexroth is expanding its range of direct drives for compact tracked loaders and other tracked vehicles with the MCR-T radial piston motor in frame size 10.

  • Approximately 20% shorter than conventional radial piston motors on the market
  • Offers around 10% higher starting torque for more tractive force
  • Allows high travel speeds at very low diesel engine rotational speeds for improved efficiency, especially over long distances
  • Compact design complements MCR-T family which was previously offered in frame sizes 5 and 6
  • Features integrated fail-safe, multi-disc holding brake in outboard portion of motor housing
  • Withstands higher radial forces due to improved load distribution
  • Optimized position of drive shaft allows for use of simpler sprocket in comparison to conventional radial piston motors
  • Larger bearings flush with case oil achieve up to 30% longer service life
  • Integrated flushing valve supports cooling of oil when used in closed hydraulic circuits
  • Designed for continuous high rotational speeds so that compact tracked loaders can also cover longer distances
  • Integrated control valve enables operator to gently and smoothly shift between travel speeds with soft shift mode operating in both directions so motor then runs with reduced displacement, reducing oil flow in circuit and improving system efficiency
  • Direct drive results in greater efficiency and lower noise than typical gearbox-based solutions
