Bosch Rexroth introduces the AVBC-14 “Control Plus” valves, designed to dramatically decrease power consumption and thereby save fuel and cut emissions.

  • Makes mobile lifting equipment more energy efficient and easier to control
  • Uses the force of gravity instead of engine power to retract a lift cylinder
  • Eliminates wasted horsepower typically used in motion control applications such as telehandlers, aerial work platforms or cranes
  • Engineered to replace traditional counterbalance valves
  • Allows the use of gravity to help lower a loaded or unloaded structure, while at the same time providing increased stability and smoother start and stop of motion
  • Reduces pump flow to the boom when lowering, making more flow available for faster execution of simultaneous movements and reducing machine cycle times for better overall performance
  • Control piston design, together with finely tuned opening pressure elements, yields a “flow-compensation” effect
  • Lowering speeds remain relatively constant regardless of the load, which is achieved without energy-robbing use of a traditional pressure-compensated flow control
  • Control piston provides millimeter-level precision in load positioning
