Agritechnica 2025, organized by the DLG (German Agricultural Society), concluded its Nov. 9-15 event in Hanover, Germany, with approximately 476,000 visitors from 171 countries and 2,849 exhibitors from 52 nations. The trade fair operated under the guiding theme “Touch Smart Efficiency,” highlighting technologies for digitalization, automation and sustainability in the agricultural sector.

The event also included Systems & Components, a B2B marketplace for the supplier industry for agricultural machinery and the off-highway sector. Key topics at this co-located event included alternative drive systems and AI-based safety solutions.

“Agritechnica 2025 has convincingly showed how innovation, productivity and sustainability can go hand in hand,” said Tobias Eichberg, managing director of DLG Markets GmbH, in a statement. “Here in Hanover, we have sent forward-looking impulses for the agriculture and agricultural machinery sectors of tomorrow and across the globe.”

Attendee and Exhibitor Stats

According to a visitor survey, attendees reported a 95% satisfaction rate with the exhibition. The topics of greatest interest included tractors, transport vehicles, harvesting technology, soil cultivation, seeding equipment, crop protection and fertilization.

International attendees accounted for about 32% of decision-makers, with many traveling from the Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Poland and the Czech Republic, as well as from the USA, Canada and China.

Exhibitors from outside of Germany made up 68% of the total. The countries with the most exhibitors after Germany were Italy, China, Turkey and the Netherlands.

New Event Features

Agritechnica 2025 debuted a new visitor day concept called “7 Days – 7 Topics,” which targeted specific professional groups with themed days, such as “Agribusiness Days,” “International Farmers Day” and “Digital Farm Day.”

Another new feature was the Digital Farm Center, which provided a platform for start-ups and manufacturers to showcase innovations in digitalization, automation, robotics and AI. The center included a Robotics Live Arena where autonomous machines demonstrated their capabilities.

The event also hosted an expanded International Dealer Center with business matchmaking and networking formats. A “Workshop Live” feature allowed attendees to observe mechanics performing maintenance on tractors and other farm equipment.

The next Agritechnica and Systems & Components will take place Nov. 14-20, 2027, in Hanover.
