Medium and Heavy Truck Sales Increased 6% in February

Sales of medium and heavy trucks increased 6% in February compared to the same period in 2015, and were up 10% from January. 

Class 8 truck sales were down 11% compared to the previous year while Class 7 sales rose 13%. For the year so far, sales of trucks over 10,000 lbs. are up 4%. Class 8 sales are down 10% and Class 7 sales up 5%. 

Total sales for all truck classes are up 9%, with only Class 8 truck sales seeing a decrease so far in 2016.
