SANY America has appointed John Kuo Director in Charge of Port Machinery Products. Kuo has been with SANY America since 2008, serving as Service Manager/Vice Director and most recently as Parts Vice Director. He will report to SANY America Chairman Tim Frank.
Kuo will be responsible for expanding SANY’s port machinery business in North American markets and beyond as the company continues increasing port product offerings.
“The SANY product, including our reach stackers, empty container handlers, heavy forklifts and cranes, are designed and built for the needs of the global market,” Kuo says. “It’s my job to ensure more and more customers discover SANY as a solution for world-class equipment and performance. We’re very confident in our product and with that foundation there are no boundaries to the ports that we can call home.”

Kuo holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering. He began his career in 1977 as Crane Service Manager for a Manitowoc dealership. He then served as Sales Director of a PPM Port Machinery and Liebherr tower crane dealership before returning to a Manitowoc, Terex, Kobelco dealership as Service and Operations Manager. Kuo joined SANY in 2008 and served as Service Manager until 2011, before being named Parts Director.
