Continental VDO SingleViu Instrument Gauges

The Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket business unit of Continental has introduced the VDO SingleViu instrument series, a line of robust and highly versatile round instrumentation. 

• For use in on-highway and off-highway applications including agricultural, mining, and stationary power applications
• Features dual input allowing operation with analog signals and digitally with CANbus
• Provides all functions of previous VDO Vision, ViewLine, and CANcockpit instrument lines
• Available in 74 variants for original equipment, retrofit, or service replacement
• Easy to use
• Provides user interface via LCD display on speedometers and tachometers
• Includes 2-1/16 in. (52 mm) diameter gauges for temperature, fuel, pressure, tachometer, DEF, voltage, amperage, and hourmeter
• Speedometers and tachometers are also offered in 3-3/8 in. (80/85 mm) and 4 in. (100 mm) diameters
• Accepts input from digital CANbus connection (CAN SAE J1939) and commercially available analog sensors
• Features adaptable sensor curve or adaptable pulse count
• Can be configured with SingleViu ConfigTool or LCD screen (speedometers and tachometers)
• Electrical connection uses watertight Molex MX150 connectors
• Designed to perform in wide range of weather and environmental conditions
• Includes double-glazed and shock-resistant mineral glass to prevent fogging and damage under harsh conditions
• Housings are flame-resistant environmentally sealed to class IP67
• Voltage range is from 8-32V
• Operating temperature range is -40-176 F (-40-80 C)
• Provides exceptional readability, featuring a 240 degree display angle and RGB LED background illumination for dial and display
• Anti-reflective coating is applied to lens to help maximize readability
• 80/85 and 100 mm gauges include internal pushbuttons that can control additional information displayed in operating menu
• Up to five tell-tales can be added to dial face, and both bezels and dials can be adapted to meet specific customer needs
