Over 1,000 Fuel Cells Deployed Via American Recovery and Reinvestment Act

The DOE announces it has reached a milestone of deploying over one thousand fuel cells through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recently announced that over one thousand fuel cells have been deployed over the past three years through the Amercian Recovery and Reinvestment Act. 

Fuel cells funded through this program have been used in material handling equipment, such as forklift trucks, as well as emergency backup power units and other applications.

The DOE is continuing to research and fund further fuel cell projects to increase their capabilities and implementation.
