The Sensor Connection has released its ILPS-45 Series inductive, contactless linear position sensor using LVIT Technology.
- For measuring applications requiring rugged devices
- Withstands high vibration and severe shock environments, as well as extremes of temperature and humidity
- Uses proprietary inductive technology that allows it to replace traditional DC-LVDTs in most applications
- Simple coil design permits sensor to be both shorter and more rugged than DC-LVDT counterpart while operating over wider temperature range
- Available with optional mounting flanges, rod eye ends, connector or cable terminations, and captive connecting rod assembly that cannot break loose
- SenSet range adjustability feature allows user to scale sensor's zero and full span output to actual range of motion of workpiece being measured after sensor is installed
- Operating temperature range is -40-85 C (-40-185 F)
- Ranges from 4-18 in. (100-450 mm)
- Double shaft seals keep dirt and grime out of bore
- Axial or radial connector or cable terminations
- Features 1.75 in. (44.5 mm) outer diameter body with 5 mm (0.2 in.) wall thickness
- 1/2-20 UNF threaded or rod eye end connecting rod
- Optional mounting hardware
- Operates from variety of DC voltages
- Provides choice of four analog outputs
