Alliance Sensors Group LA-9.5 Series of Miniature AC-LVDTs

Alliance Sensors Group, a div of H.G. Schaevitz LLC, has expanded its linear position sensor line with the LA-9.5 series of miniature AC-LVDTs (Linear Variable Differential Transformers).

• High-precision linear sensors
• Small diameter contactless design for use in industrial and commercial OEM applications in the factory automation, industrial, and test and measurement markets
• Features infinite resolution, excellent linearity, and wide operating temperature range, suiting wide variety of OEM position sensing applications
• Miniature 3/8 in. (9.5 mm) OD SS body
• Seven ranges from ±0.025 to ±2.0 inches (±0.64 to ±50.8 mm)
• -55-125 C (-67-257 F) operating temperature
• Good stroke-to-length ratios
• Operates from nominal 3 Vrms, 2.5 - 3.3 kHz excitation source
• Features 12-in. (304.8 mm) leads and offered with either imperial or metric threaded 0.110 in. (2.8 mm) diameter core that works in a 0.125 in. (3.2 mm) I.D. bore
• Mating with ASG’s SC-200 DIN-rail-mountable industrial AC-LVDT signal conditioner creates complete position measurement solution
