Novotechnik U.S. introduces the Vert-X 05E Series of magnetic rotary position sensors with compact, flat housing.
- Interfaces include analog, SPI and incremental
- Available in single and redundant versions
- Touchless magnetic angle sensors with permanent magnet
- Can be secured to an application’s rotating shaft so there is no direct mechanical linkage between shaft and measuring system, and therefore no wear
- Features 5 mm (0.19 in.) profile, 0-360 degree measurement range,
- Offers repeatability of 0.1 degree or better, and maximum hysteresis of 0.1 degree
- Sample rate is up to 5 kHz
- Active measurement region extends to within 6 mm (0.24 in.) from edge of housing
- Includes 5 and 24V supply models
- Analog outputs are 0.5- 4.5V for the 24 version and 10-90% of supply voltage for 5V version
- Positive output for CW or CCW rotation direction is achieved by flipping the assembly over
- MTBF of 668 years
- Ingress protection rating of IP68
- Operating range of -40-125 C (-40-257 F)
