Novotechnik TFD-4000 Series Touchless Linear Position Sensors

Novotechnik U.S. introduces the TFD-4000 Series of touchless linear position sensors which provide wear-free operation in tight spaces.

• Maximum sensor dimensions are 40 x 27 x 7 mm (1.6 x 1.1 x 0.3 in.)
• Utilizes magnetic position marker to provide stroke length of 0-14, 24 or 50 mm (0-0.6, 0.9 or 2 in.)—depending on model
• Makes touchless measurements through air and non-magnetic materials
• Magnetic position marker mounts to users' application
• Includes ingress protection from liquids and dust to IP69
• Provides resolution of 12 bits, repeatability of ≤0.1% of full scale and optional second channel for applications requiring redundancy
• Features analog voltage output
• Operating temperature range of –40-125 C (-40-257 F)
• Applications include mobile engine management systems, industrial trucks, construction machinery, agricultural and forestry machinery
