- Highly robust design
- Optimized for mobile applications, as well as fuel tank level measurement
- Delivers high performance operation, with a ±0.1 mm typical resolution, repeatability of ±0.1 mm and a ±0.04% linearity (full scale)
- Stroke lengths of up to 2,500 mm (98.4 in.) are supported
- Sensor rod is available in 7 and 10 mm (0.28 and 0.39 in.) diameters
- Operational temperature ranges from -40-105 C (-40-221 F)
- Offers more robust alternative to contact-based linear sensors such as potentiometers for prolonged working life
- Can be used for upgrading existing sensing systems without having to change surrounding mechanical structure
- Screw mechanism enables easy implementation into areas that are difficult to access
- Withstands harsh external environments
- Proprietary Temposonics magnetostrictive technology ensures devices are not vulnerable to vibration, shock, dust and electro-magnetic interference
