Clean Air Power, the developer and global leader in compression-ignited natural gas engine management systems for heavy-duty engines, announces that it has received a major new order for high pressure coalescing filters from a leading supplier of compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel storage systems. The order has a value of around $374,000 over the 12 months from June 2015.
Clean Air Power also announces that it will be exhibiting its Genesis-EDGE Dual-Fuel system at the Alternative Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo 2015 in Dallas between May 4 and 7. Clean Air Power’s Genesis-EDGE system is only the dual-fuel system in the U.S. to have achieved full certification from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Californian Air Resources Board (CARB), and the ACT Expo is the largest exhibition for clean fuel transportation fleets in North America. Clean Air Power will be supported at the ACT Expo by Bruckner’s, its distribution partner for the Southwestern region of the US.
John Pettitt, Chief Executive of Clean Air Power, says, “This order for high pressure coalescing filters demonstrates the continuing value our Components Division brings to our customers in the supply of specialized components for the natural gas industry and it confirms the growth we are seeing in CNG as a road fuel in North America. I am also delighted that Bruckner’s will be supporting us at the ACT Expo 2015 in Dallas. This will be a major showcase for our Genesis-EDGE system and an opportunity for us to demonstrate our competitive advantage by having the only EPA and CARB fully-certified dual-fuel system in the US.”
