Oilgear has introduced its newest open-loop variable-displacement pump—the XD5 hydraulic pump.
- Designed specifically to meet the demands of the mobile on- and off-highway markets such as in mining trucks, dozers, excavators, refuse trucks and Class 8 service trucks
- Open-loop axial-piston hydraulic pump with almost instantaneous response to system commands through a high-response, three-way, direct acting control
- Significantly smaller and lighter than its comparable pump line, the PVG series
- Proprietary Hard-On-Hard Technology enables pump to withstand continuous use in medium- to heavy-duty cycles mitigating contamination risks which can lead to premature or increased maintenance and costly equipment downtime
- Orientation of pump control was changed to greatly reduce width, length, and height
- Weighs 35% less than other pump designs
- Available for first-fit and retro-fit
- Range will include five models from 45-130 cc
- Maximum displacement of 6.02 in3/rev (98.6 ml/rev)
- Rated continuous pressure of 5,000 psi (344.8 bar)
- Peak pressure of 5,800 psi (400.0 bar)
- Flow rate is 46.9 gpm (177.5 lpm)
- Maximum speed is 2,400 rpm
