Frank Manfredi joins OEM Off-Highway!

Manfredi will write a monthly column for OEM Off-Highway magazine that focuses on market trends, strategic moves among competitors, forecasts of off-highway product markets and topical issues that affect OEM Off-Highway advertisers.

Cygnus Business Media is pleased to announce a strategic alliance with Frank Manfredi of Manfredi & Associates, Inc. Manfredi will write a monthly column for OEM Off-Highway magazine, a 16,000 circulation magazine that serves original equipment manufacturing firms in the mobile off-highway markets. His column will focus on market trends, strategic moves among competitors, forecasts of off-highway product markets and topical issues that affect OEM Off-Highway advertisers.

Manfredi will also contribute content for other Cygnus publications related to the construction industries. In addition, Cygnus and Manfredi plan to develop market convocations for Cygnus advertisers that focus on developing market strategies that address government issues affecting manufacturers, product trends, and market channel strategies.

Manfredi has considerable experience tracking the off-highway markets. He has been a consultant to the industry for more than 35 years and for the past 26 years has published a monthly newsletter, Machinery Outlook, which provides readers with in-depth reports on the construction, mining, agricultural and material handling machinery markets.

Manfredi is president of Manfredi & Associates, Inc., founded in 1984. The company is a unique marketing information firm that specializes in the construction, mining, farm and material handling equipment industry.

Machinery Outlook and Machinery Outlook Europe are two highly respected newsletters viewed as a critical source of information about the machinery industries. Manfredi & Associates maintains an active market consulting practice focused on machinery markets. In addition, Manfredi is active in industry associations, and a member of the Chicago Federal Reserve’s Industrial Roundtable Committee.

Prior to forming Manfredi & Associates, Manfredi was responsible for the direction of construction equipment research in the Machinery Services Group at Nielsen/Dataquest for eight years. Assignments included strategic planning, econometric forecasting, territory analysis, financial analysis, acquisition analysis, product planning, and supervision of three of Dataquest’s four research groups.

Previously, he held positions at International Harvester Company’s Payline Group and with an East Coast U.S. construction equipment distributor. Manfredi has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Distribution from Clarkson University, a Masters of Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Master of Liberal Arts from the University of Chicago.
