A total of 508 exhibitors from over 30 countries will participate to showcase their latest products and innovations in machinery and equipment for construction, mining and building materials at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai, India, between 8 and 11 February 2011.
These figures will establish bC India not only as the largest construction machinery trade fair in India in terms of the number of participating exhibitors, but also as the most international event within the construction sector in India. Some 70 percent of the registered exhibitors are headquartered outside of India. After India, the top five countries of origin for exhibitors are Germany, Italy, the United States, China and Great Britain, respectively.
Responding to a very strong demand from exhibitors, the exhibition space for bC India was earlier extended by 8,000 square meters, bringing the total to nearly 88,000 square meters.
bC India is also attracting attention among Indian governmental agencies. For example, the Indian Minister of Urban Development, Mr. Kamal Nath, will deliver the opening speech at the show to emphasize the strategic importance of bC India for the Indian construction industry.
