Antonio Carraro and SAME DEUTZ-FAHR (SDF) have signed a global partnership agreement for the production of a series of isodiametric tractors, built by Antonio Carraro under the SDF trademark.
The Walker series, distributed by the SDF network, features three isodiametric models from 26 to 48 hp: Walker 30 - Walker 40 - Walker 50. This range of compact, agile and handy vehicles features mechanical transmission, 12 gears (maximum speed 30 Km/h) and hydraulic and lifting systems suitable for all kinds of specialist applications. These new products epitomize the construction philosophy shared by the two companies, based on the research and development of reliable and long-lasting tractors.
A Walker 50 model, on show for the first time in the SDF stand at the Agritechnica trade fair in Hanover, immediately won the appreciation of the public and of the SDF network which sees this new series of tractors as a natural completion of the product range.
Thanks to this agreement, Antonio Carraro (a long-standing Italian leader in the production of compact and multi-purpose tractors) and SDF (a leading producer of tractors, harvesters, engines and agricultural machinery) look forward to developing other mutually profitable shared projects.
