In order to minimize harmful reaction forces while tolerating high temperatures, CENTA has developed the CENTAFLEX-KF Series couplings to optimize diesel-driven construction machinery.
- For use with diesel engine driven construction machinery with either SAE or non-standard flywheels
- Performance range of up to 800 Nm
- Features single piece blind mount construction with high torsional stiffness
- Offers exceptional temperature limit and high flexibility in radial direction
- Special elastomer material is also suitable for temperatures of 100 C (212 F) continuous, up to 120 C (248 F) maximum
- Compound-injected central hub is made of high-quality special plastic known as CENTADUR
- CENTADUR features freedom from abrasive glass fibers, metal-like strength, exceptional sliding qualities and lack of corrosion at splined pump shaft
- Delivered as single piece unit, ready to be bolted to flywheel
- Splined pump shaft is simply plugged into profile of hub for easy blind mounting, resulting in strong, maintenance-free coupling
- Sizes available with same connection dimensions as flywheels of various small diesel engines (e.g. Deutz, Kubota, Perkins, Yanmar etc.)
- Flywheel connection dimensions can been adapted to sizes of traditional CENTAFLEX couplings series A and H
- Additional sizes correspond to SAE sizes 6-1⁄2 to 11-1⁄2 standard flywheels
- Special types can be designed for non-standard flywheels
