BMZ Names New General Manager, Expands Production Lines of Lithium-Ion batteries in U.S.

Kai Schöffler took over the position of General Managers at BMZ USA Inc. in Virginia Beach. Since 2013, he was engaged as Head of Corporate Development at BMZ Holding GmbH and as Senior Group Controller. Under Schöffler’s leadership, BMZ USA's goal is to double its revenues to 8 million USD in 2017, following a sales volume of around 4 million USD in 2016. BMZ USA expands production lines for stapler, power and garden tools. Series production of lithium-Ion battery system for stapler, power and garden tools and E-Bikes in July. Schöffler’s experience as well as the BMZ Group wide network, he built up in his former positions allow him to identify specialists within BMZ’s facilities in Germany, Poland and China and to use their expertise and competences.
