Go Power! — the leading provider of solar and mobile power solutions since 1996 — has been awarded the prestigious Green Initiative Award at the 2019 NTEA Work Truck Show.
The award was presented to Go Power! for its new and improved solar liftgate charging solution, designed to optimize work truck efficiency by minimizing downtime, reducing fuel consumption and maximizing battery life.
Ray Collett and Eric Starling of Go Power! accepted the award from NTEA President & CEO Steve Carey on the show floor at the Go Power! booth.
Collett presented the solar liftgate charging solution at a press conference earlier in the show. “The response was outstanding,” said Collett. “There was a huge amount of interest in the benefits of charging liftgates and the enhancements we’ve made to our solution to incorporate an electric pallet jack charging hub.”
The NTEA show, sponsored by the Association for the Work Truck Industry, is North America’s largest annual work truck event. The 2019 Work Truck Show featured a range of new solutions designed to support the membership and advance the commercial vehicle community at large. Many of these solutions were demonstrated or presented live during the show.
This year’s show also featured the Green Truck Summit, focusing on clean energy trends and initiatives for commercial vehicles.
