Eaton has announced it will display its True Sine Wave Inverter portfolio at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) 2026, scheduled for Jan. 19-22 in Grapevine, Texas. The lineup features two solutions: the eMobility True Sine Wave Inverter for off-highway and heavy-duty commercial vehicles and the Tripp Lite Series Pure Sine Wave Mobile Inverter for light-duty applications.
The company states the inverters are designed to address the growing need for stable AC power as more electronics and connected devices are integrated into vehicles. The solutions convert 12V DC battery power into AC power to support vehicle uptime and protect sensitive electronic equipment.
Eaton eMobility True Sine Wave Inverter
The eMobility inverter is engineered for use in commercial trucks and off-highway equipment and is tested to meet SAE environmental standards. It includes an automatic transfer switch that shifts from DC to AC utility power when available, which helps to minimize battery discharge. An optional 40A internal battery charger is also available.
Key features include:
- True sine wave output
- Greater than 87% typical efficiency
- AC pass-through with optional 12V 40A smart battery charger
- Integrated battery charger and transfer switch
- Transient, over/under voltage and over-temperature protection
- User-configurable settings
- Ruggedized for OEM and off-highway environments
Eaton Tripp Lite Series Pure Sine Wave Mobile Inverters
The Tripp Lite Series is intended for fleet vehicles, service trucks and remote job sites requiring a simplified solution. These inverters provide pure sine wave output to support laptops, test instruments and other sensitive electronics.
Key benefits include:
- Pure sine wave AC output
- Up to 3,000W continuous / 6,000W peak power
- One USB-C (18W) and one USB-A (10.5W) charging port
- Optional LCD display and remote control
- LEDs and audible alarms for voltage, temperature and overload
- Temperature/load-controlled cooling fan
- UL 458-certified with GFCI outlets on 2,000W and 3,000W models
