DEUTZ Group has signed a purchase agreement to acquire all shares in Frerk Aggregatebau GmbH, a manufacturer of power generation systems headquartered in Schweringen, Germany.
Frerk serves as a system integrator for emergency power systems and decentralized energy supply. Its customers include data centers, critical infrastructure operators and other clients with needs for complex, customer-specific emergency power solutions.
The acquisition is positioned to strategically complement the DEUTZ Energy business unit. Frerk’s current management will continue to lead the company's operations and expansion.
The purchase price is in the upper double-digit million-euro range, consisting of a cash component and a variable component based on business performance. The transaction, which will be debt-financed, is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026 pending anti-trust clearance and other customary closing conditions.
